据中国美术馆 7 月 22 日宣布，中国美术馆举办了名为 "美丽中国" 的画展，展出了该馆珍藏的多位近代名家之经典力作。

展出的作品中也包括了画家曾向明 1984 年被国家美术馆收藏的作品《放》。
